Facts you should know about medical drugs

First I want to say I'm NOT against drugs or surgery when this is the only way. I'm taking a drug daily. Pharmacies now print out a sheet showing the side effects of the drugs and I must say I'm worried about all the side effects that are listed - the side effects take up nearly half the page. Both drugs and natural medicines can help people. Inform people and let men and women decide themselves what they want and what is best for them. Everybody should respect this fundamental right.

1. Without exception all drugs are synthetic and patented. Drug manufacturers will never sell a natural medicine. There is not enough money in it for them.
   
   
2. Many drug manufacturers are so huge that their economy is being compared with the complete economy of countries the size like Spain. You have to ask, if they are so huge already, why do they want to eliminate natural remedies that do work (in most cases slower but without side effects)?
   
   
3. People today want prevention. This is why there is a trend to natural medicines and supplements. About 10 years ago I read in The Toronto Star that at a medical doctor convention in Toronto the lead lecturer said: "We are not in the prevention business". Some medical doctors are now strong supporters of preventative measures. However, most are not. I have a book in which a medical doctor writes: "There is more money to be made by treating symptoms and diseases than in preventing them. The underlying causes remain untreated and ignored. We are living in a medical system that profits from widespread illness."
   
   
4. Through personal contacts it was relayed to me that a new medical doctor said he saw our ads about our Bell Shark Cartilage and made the comment that "it won't hurt but it certainly will not help". Drug manufacturers will say he is a good man.
   
   
6. Synthetic hormones (drugs) versus Natural Hormones: Millions of women have been given synthetic hormones (drugs) for 40 years. Now in 2002 we hear in newspaper articles that this was all wrong. There are more breast cancer cases, heart attacks, strokes, thromboembolic phenomena and colon cancer cases, because of these synthetic hormones. My wife took these synthetic hormones for 10 years.
